Sexy Sex Ed Inc.’s Ability to Make Waves Among American Conservatives

Fringe News Network (Dallas, TX) - The nonprofit’s official name is Sexy Sex Ed Inc. The entity was setup on October 16, 2020[1]. Three people have officer’s status with the organization: Tanya Turner, Shaylan Clark and Emily Baldridge[2].

The address tied to the nonprofits website and the State comptrollers website is 420 East Main St. Hazard, Kentucky 41701. The owner of this building is the Foundation For Appalachian Kentucky, Inc. The chairman for this organization is Joel Brashear. The vice chairman is Kathy Atkins. The secretary is Alison F. Davis. The following people are directors for the nonprofit: Danny Maggard, Keith Gabbard, Maria Braman, Josh Howard, Janet Smith, Crissy Fiscus, Ellen Williams and Sandi Curd. account tied to Sexy Sex Ed Inc. is very liberal and open-minded. Shaylan Clark
can be seen holding a sign stating Bans Off Our Bodies. Additionally, pro
abortion is openly accepted by the masses that support the nonprofit’s core

Concerns with the age threshold of teaching minors about BDSM, masturbation and
other sex while using drugs is raising a lot of eyes.

- Tanya is a femme, fat, queer, magical pleasure worker, educator, &
artist. She was raised in rural Kentucky by a host of witchy women alongside
sisters and cousins. A coven-like mountain matriarchy, if you will, on Stoney
Fork. Her craft tools are candles, crystals, oils, plants, music, sex toys,
tarot, the moon, and instincts of a triple water sign (Cancer Sun - Scorpio
Moon & Rising). In 2012, Tanya started this Appalachian sex ed collect
called Sexy Sex Ed and co-founded the party podcast known as Trillbillies in
2017. With over a decade of rural organizing practice toward healing,
abolition, & liberation, she fantasizes about a whole other world. Tanya
lives high on a Kentucky mountaintop with lots of plants, a steamy hot tub, and

Many questions are rising regarding the need to introduce the topic of masturbation to toddlers. In the video Turner explains that when her nephews were able to talk, she starting to talk with them about masturbation.[6] Christopher F. Rufo provides a video were Tanya Turner states that the ability to explore one’s body does need to be in a consensual way for all ages. Some are asking if this is a self admission to grooming.
Caitlin Cummings – Caitlin Cummings is a 23 year old radical queer mountain woman that grew up in the hollers of Vicco, KY. She grew up always hearing about the injustices of the world and wanting to do things to help. She is currently working on a degree in Human Services where she plans to expand her sex ed work to help people understand the with proper sex ed and body love, you can heal in a lot of different ways, as she has herself.
She’s worked with All Access EKY through Appalshop making media to raise awareness about reproductive Healthcare issues in Appalachia. Caitlin has volunteered with different organizations through her college life including WMMT’s Girls Rock Camp in Whitesburg, KY which is a camp made to empower girls, gender non-conforming, and trans youth with music, self-expression, and self-love, as well as The Cottage, a child abuse advocacy center that handles cases of child abuse in ages one to seventeen years old. She’s also volunteered with The New Opportunity School for Women which is a program out of Berea, KY that helps women in Appalachia with educational, financial and personal circumstance in their life. Caitlin loves her plants, social justice and good food.[7] Larah Helayne – Larah Helayne is an eighteen year old musician, songwriter, and activist, based in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Growing up in the Appalachian foothills, Larah’s life and work have been greatly impacted by the magnificence of the mountains. Their songs and activism reflect both the beauty and struggles of living in Eastern Kentucky, while weaving in the story of her own wild and wonderful life. Larah places great value and focus on the rich musical heritage of her home, especially in regards to banjo, dance calling, and protest songs. As a young, nonbinary queer in Appalachia, Larah strives to use their songs, voice, and life to fight for human rights and systematic change in the region, through music, community, organizing, and nonprofit work. Larah founded their school’s first Gender Sexuality Alliance, “Open Light,” which now has over 45 members. They are proud alumni and intern of Girls Rock Whitesburg, and a member of the Family Folk Week Steering committee at Hindman Settlement School. Larah is a sex educator with Sexy Sex Ed, and spends time co-facilitating sex education workshops for fellow Appalachian youth.[8]Kirstyn Ooten – Kirstyn is a young, fat, differently-abled, queer community organizer and college student from southern West Virginia. She works as a VISTA in Charleston, and works with kids! She has always dreamt of a space where fat folks are appreciated, normalized, and safe, so she created it. Kirstyn led West Virginia’s first Body Positive Party in 2019, and that has led her into a world of fighting for inclusivity for people like her. She has also worked with Planned Parenthood to secure period products for students across southern WV. Although Kirstyn has take a step back in the last 6 months to focus on health, she is back and better than ever! She uses the same techniques from the Sexy Sex Ed platform in her daily job, and is very passionate about sexuality education. Kirstyn loves all things plants and body love![9]
The next steps for this group are yet to be determined. Will conservatives rise enough questions regarding the group to cause an investigation to take place? These are just a few of the questions that are going through the minds of many people who are asking their selves if Sexy Sex Ed Inc. crossed the line.
